Is Advertising on Uber the next big thing?

As Uber continues to grow more and more as a company, there continues to be more questions raised about how they can begin to make more money. Each individual Uber driver in the London area does an average of about 600 trips per month. This gives us total impressions of at least 600 passengers per month. Again, this is only assuming all trips carry a single passenger which is not entirely the case. In the London area alone there are now an estimated 30,000 Uber drivers. This gives us total potential impressions of about 18,000,000 per month again only assuming we have one passenger per trip per vehicle. Not only do we have the possibility to capture such a large number of ad impression; moreover, the ad impressions that we are capturing are much more valuable than your typical ad on the screen due to the fact that they can easily be converted into a purchase.
